"Collision" is the title of this South African variation on the Oscar-winning theme. It is based on a slow-moving complex "coincidence" film. A white teenage boy Joe, his white father, a human trafficking security racket, a kid trying to make his break. Rebellion about "what did your people do for this country". The music business is all connected. and are clumsily brought together at that one fatal crossroads in the opening scene of the film.
Which ties the thread of each story to each one as they stumble toward that pile and the pistol that comes out after it. That story structure can make a short film.
